Informe actividad solar
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

(S20W59) was fairly active today with occasional brightenings, but
appears to have decreased. Region 9176 (S08W66) was quiet all day,
but has shown slow growth.

The geomagnetic field was mostly quiet with one period of unsettled
conditions observed at the higher latitudes. The solar wind speed
continued to decline today.

increase to active levels is expected to begin late on the second
day and continuing through the 3rd day due to a high-speed coronal
hole wind stream.
