Solar activity report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Number 361 Issued at 2200Z on 27 Dec 2010IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 26-2100Z to 27-2100Z Solar activity was very low. New Region 1138 (N13W12)
was numbered during the period as a Dao bi-polar group and produced
several B-class events. Regions 1136 (S22W84) and 1137 (N18E00) were
spotless.

Solar activity is expected to be very
low for the next three days (28 - 30 December) with a slight chance
of C-class activity from the Region 1138.
