Bulletin

Solar activity remains at the very low level, without any flares reported. We do not expect the change of the level of the solar activity in the coming hours, however isolated B-class flares are still possible in the coming hours. No Earth directed CMEs have been observed and the solar protons remained at background level in the past 24 hours. The Earth is presently within the fast solar wind. The solar wind speed was slowly increasing during last 48 hours and it presently amounts about 520 km/s, the interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is about 5nT. The fast solar wind associated with the large equatorial coronal hole which has reached the central meridian this morning, is expected to arrive at the Earth late on June 15 or early morning of June 16. The geomagnetic conditions are presently quiet to unsettled and we expect them to stay so in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 011, based on 27 stations.
