Solar activity report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Number 192 Issued at 2200Z on 11 Jul 2001IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 10-2100Z to 11-2100Z Solar activity has been low. Two C-class flares
occurred today: an optically uncorrelated C2 at 11/1711 UTC, and a
C1/Sf at 11/0043 UTC from Region 9531 (S06W20). Three new regions
were numbered today: 9536 (N11E40), 9537 (S07E39), and 9538
(N17E86).
