B. Proton Events
The GOES-16 greater than 10 MeV proton flux reached a peak of 18.5 pfu at 05/1745Z due to CME activity associated with a long-duration M1.6/1n flare at 05/0718Z from Region 3386.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
The geomagnetic field reached major storm levels in response to the onset of CME influence associated with activity on the Sun over 01-02 Aug.
