Bulletin

Solar X-ray flux remained below B level. The small plage region located around S07E45 developed some spots this morning but Solar flaring is overall expected to remain below C level over the next days.

There were no Earth directed Coronal Mass Ejections (CMEs) observed in the available coronagraphic imagery.

The greater than 10 MeV proton flux was at nominal levels over the past 24 hours and is expected to stay at nominal levels. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux has been slightly enhanced over the past 24 hours. The electron flux should be at background values over the next days as Solar wind has returned to a nominal slow Solar wind regime.

Solar wind conditions were near nominal. Solar wind speed overall increased slightly from around 370km/s to around 430 km/s. The total magnetic field was somewhat variable with a maximum of 8nT and a minimum of 1nT. Bz was variable and the magnetic field phi angle was mostly in the negative sector with some excursions into the positive sector. Near nominal Solar wind conditions are expected over the next days.

Geomagnetic conditions were quiet to unsettled (local KDourbes and NOAA Kp 1-3). Quiet geomagnetic conditions are expected over the next days with an occasional unsettled episode possible.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 007, based on 17 stations.
