Bulletin

The only numbered sunspot group Catania 29 (NOAA region 2758) observed on the visible side of the solar disc has almost completely decayed. There was no C-class or even B-class flares reported during last 24 hours, and we expect such a low level of flaring activity to persist in the coming hours. No Earth directed CMEs have been observed in coronagraph data. Proton flux levels were at background values and are expected to remain so.

The solar wind speed is slowly decreasing and its present value is about 390 km/s. The interplanetary magnetic field magnitude is 3nT. The geomagnetic conditions are quiet and we expect quiet to unsettled geomagnetic conditions in the coming hours.

Today's estimated international sunspot number (ISN): 000, based on 21 stations.
