Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

None.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
The geomagnetic field reached minor storm levels during the initial 15/0000-0300 UTC synoptic period, likely due to a prolonged period of southward Bz component near the end of the previous UTC-day. The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled afterwards, as the orientation of the IMF became unfavorable for higher levels of geomagnetic response, despite an enhanced solar wind environment.
