Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

None.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
The geomagnetic field is likely to become disturbed and reach unsettled levels, with an isolated period of active conditions on days one and two (24-25 Dec) in response to CH HSS effects. The geomagnetic response is expected to weaken to primarily quiet to unsettled levels by day three (26 Dec) as CH HSS effects wane.
