Solar activity report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Number 175 Issued at 2200Z on 24 Jun 2006IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 23-2100Z to 24-2100Z Solar activity was very low. An active area beyond the
east limb (N09) produced several B-class flares today. The largest
of these was a B3 flare at 24/1012Z. The visible disk remains
spotless.
IB. Solar Activity Forecast
Solar activity is expected to be very
low. There is a slight chance of an isolated C-class flare from the
active area located beyond the east limb.

The geomagnetic field was quiet.
