Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

The greater than 10 MeV proton event ended at 08/0145 UTC (start: 07/0440 UTC and 208 pfu peak: 07/1650 UTC).
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
The geomagnetic field ranged from quiet to major storm levels. The disturbance which began yesterday has ended. Activity has been at quiet to unsettled levels since about 08/0600 UTC.
