Solar activity report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

SDF Number 180 Issued at 2200Z on 29 Jun 2001IA. Analysis of Solar Active Regions and Activity from 28-2100Z to 29-2100Z Solar activity was low with only a couple of weak
C-class x-ray flares. Region 9514 merged with Region 9513 (N21W25);
as a result, region number 9514 has been deleted. New Region 9523
(S48E35) was numbered today; it split off from Region 9518 (S47E22).
