Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

8798. THIS REGION REMAINS THE LARGEST REGION ON THE SOLAR DISK WITH
AN AREA OF 550 MILLIONTHS AND CONTAINS A DKC BETA-GAMMA-DELTA SPOT
GROUP. REGION 8803 (S13E10) PRODUCED A LONG DURATION C1/SF AT
17/1750Z. TWO NEW REGIONS WERE NUMBERED TODAY AS REGION 8805
(N18W27) AND REGION 8806 (N18E71).
