SDF Nummer 256 publicerat klockan 2200Z på 13 Sep 2022IA. Analys av solfläcksgrupper och solaktivitet från 12-2100Z till 13-2100Z Solar activity has been at moderate levels for the past 24
hours. The largest solar event of the period was a M1 event observed at
12/2344Z from Region 3098 (N18W36). There are currently 6 numbered
sunspot regions on the disk.
IB. Prognos för solaktivitet
Solar activity is expected to be low with
a chance for M-class flares on days one, two, and three (14 Sep, 15 Sep,
16 Sep).
IIA. Sammanfattning av geofysisk aktivitet 12-2100Z till 13-2100Z
The geomagnetic
field has been at quiet levels for the past 24 hours. Solar wind speed
reached a peak of 371 km/s at 12/2235Z. Total IMF reached 5 nT at
13/0211Z. The maximum southward component of Bz reached -3 nT at
13/0454Z. Protons greater than 10 MeV at geosynchronous orbit reached a
peak level of 2 pfu at 13/0325Z. Electrons greater than 2 MeV at
geosynchronous orbit reached a peak level of 4758 pfu.
IIB. Prognos för geofysisk aktivitet
The geomagnetic field is expected
to be at quiet levels on days one and two (14 Sep, 15 Sep) and quiet to
active levels on day three (16 Sep). Protons have a slight chance of
crossing threshold on days one, two, and three (14 Sep, 15 Sep, 16 Sep).
