Informe geofísico

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Eventos de Protones
THE GREATER THAN 100 MEV PROTON EVENT ENDED AT 03/0650Z. THE GREATER THAN 10 MEV PROTON EVENT IS STILL IN PROGRESS, THOUGH THE 10 MEV PROTONS ARE HOVERING VERY NEAR THE 10 PFU THRESHOLD.
C. Resumen de Actividad Geomagnética
THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD HAS BEEN UNSETTLED TO SEVERE STORM AT ALL LATITUDES. THE GREATER THAN 2 MEV ENERGETIC ELECTRON FLUX EXCEEDED THRESHOLD LEVELS AGAIN TODAY, CONTINUING IN THE NORMAL TO HIGH RANGES. THE ELECTRON FLUX FIRST ENTERED THE HIGH RANGES YESTERDAY AT APPROXIMATELY 02/1700Z.
