Geophysical report
Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Proton Events
The greater than 10 MeV proton event which began
at 25/1355Z from an X4/2b flare reached a maximum value of 103 pfu
at 28/0845Z and ended at 03/0150Z. Proton flux values remained
elevated but continued a trend of steady decline as they return to
background levels.
