Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

B. Proton Events
A greater than 10 MeV proton flux greater than 10 pfu event continues. The event began at 23/2330Z, reached a maximum of 1660 pfu at 23/0650Z, fell below the 1000 pfu threshold at 23/1040Z and ended the day at 180 pfu.
C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
The geomagnetic field was quiet to unsettled.
