The geomagnetic field has been at quiet to active levels.
D. Stratwarm
STRATWARM ALERT / THURSDAY / STRATWARM EXISTS. MAJOR WARMING IN THE LOWER AND MIDDLE STRATOSPHERE, BUT FURTHER WEAKENING. REVERSED TEMPERATURE GRADIENT BETWEEN 60N AND THE POLE FROM 100 TO 20 HPA. WEAK EASTERLY ZONAL MEAN WINDS AT 60N AT 10 HPA.
