Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

C. Geomagnetic Activity Summary
The geomagnetic field was at quiet to unsettled levels. The greater than 2 MeV electron flux at geosynchronous orbit reached high levels during the period.

STRATWARM ALERT/MONDAY/STRATWARM EXISTS. UPPER STRATOSPHERE WARMING CONTINUES, CENTERED WITH PLUS 7C AT 1 HPA OVER 77N/3E, WEAKENING. TEMPERATURE GRADIENT BETWEEN 60N AND THE POLE REVERSED FROM 10 TO 1 HPA
