Geophysical report

Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

A WEAK GT 10 MEV PROTON ENHANCEMENT BEGAN NEAR 15/1600Z. AT THE END OF THE PERIOD THE FLUX REACHED 1 PFU AND WAS SLOWLY INCREASING.

THE GEOMAGNETIC FIELD WAS QUIET TO ACTIVE. THE MOST DISTURBED PERIODS WERE FROM 15/0000-0300Z AND 15/0900-1200Z.
