Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

OCCURRED DURING THE PERIOD FROM A VARIETY OF REGIONS. THE LARGEST
WAS FROM REGION 8611 (S25W20) WHICH PRODUCED A C7/SF AT 03/2050Z.
THREE NEW REGIONS WERE NUMBERED TODAY AS REGION 8618 (S17E58), 8619
(S17E71) AND 8620 (N22E56).
