Any mentioned solar flare in this report has a scaling factor applied by the Space Weather Prediction Center (SWPC). Because of the SWPC scaling factor, solar flares are reported as 42% smaller than for the science quality data. The scaling factor has been removed from our archived solar flare data to reflect the true physical units.

EVENTS OCCURRED DURING THE DAY. REGION 8574 (N29W12) CONTINUES TO BE
THE MOST ACTIVE REGION, PRODUCING TWO SMALL C-CLASS EVENTS AND
SEVERAL OPTICAL SUB FLARES. TWO NEW REGIONS WERE ASSIGNED: 8579
(N12E10) AND 8580 (S19E67).
