AurorahunterPA
I don't expect to see anything but has anyone else at this latitude seen anything? Hoping the bz comes down... It seems to be on an upward trend...
Marcel de Bont
Could you be more specific? 40 degrees north or south? Magnetic latitude or geographic latitude? Hope someone at the same latitude as you responds.
AurorahunterPA
I'm at 40 degrees north geographic latitude, but idk what my geomagnetic latitude is.
Marcel de Bont
Easiest is just to tell us your location because sky watchers in the USA can see aurora on lower geographical latitudes then sky watchers in Europe. That is because the geomagnetic north pole is not at the same location as the geographical north pole. The magnetic north pole is shifted more towards North America. I have not seen any images from Pennsylvania but did see many from around the Great Lakes.
