Vancanneyt Sander Posted August 2, 2020 Share Posted August 2, 2020 Sunspots are numbered during the observation hours of the SWPC, if at that moment the region was still a spotless plage it won’t have a number. So when spots form in the region after those observation hours, it will be likely that it will be numbered the next day if those spots are observed during the next observation hours. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
