  3. Hi cazador, thanks for the advice!! I think you are right on about getting medical help. And you don’t have to worry, we sure have. We have seen multiple specialists and have worked with neurologists as well as a geophysicist. We do not think we have ‘discovered’ anything. Geomagnetic storms causing seizures is nothing new and a simple search will reveal many many studies, peer reviewed and published. We do not need confirmation from outside sources that this is happening. We are just looking for others who share this sensitivity. Our data comes from many sources around the world, not just SWL, and we do not need coaching on scientific methods. Thank you for your time, next time though maybe stick to conversations that you can be a positive contributor to. thanks
  4. Hello Vancanneyt, That’s interesting you say “Current research shows negligible or no effects on the life on Earth itself,” I’m curious to how you obtained this conclusion. There are many studies that show an undeniable correlation between geomagnetic storms and effects on biological life forms. The sun is a large part of the continuation and production of life on this planet. How could one say the sun has no effects on life?
  5. Hi, we have a son who goes through really intense status seizures when there are changes in the earths geomagnetic field. We are searching for other people who have experience with this. Does anyone report unusual symptoms such as seizures, headaches, mania, or other neurological issues during or right after storms? We have been keeping a seizure diary and have backlogged all his seizure events with spaceweather history to reveal a nearly 100% correlation. Seizure symptoms occur in him instantaneously, we sometimes can tell what’s going on with the magnetosphere before it’s updated on spaceweather. Is there anyone out there with a similar experience? thanks, mike
  6. Hi, my son has epilepsy and his seizures are triggered by geomagnetic events. The stronger the event, the more difficult the seizure is to stop. We have backlogged all his seizures and continue to record data in a seizure journal, confirming this correlation. His sensitivity is so precise that his seizure activity occcurs instantaneously with the change in the geomagnetic field. We can see him having sudden onset symptoms and then go check space weather, and sure enough, there will be solar activity. This has been going on for 4 years, so we have obtained quite a bit of data. We are looking for anyone who is familiar with this condition so that it can be studied and we can provide better care for him. The neurologists and epileptologists in our area have no experience with this, but there have been numerous studies on this link between seizures and storms so there must be others who suffer with similar issues. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
