About SpaceWeatherLive

SpaceWeatherLive is an initiative of Spacepage, a Dutch website about astronomy and space. Long before SpaceWeatherLive existed there was on Spacepage some Space Weather information visible but it grew a bit out of it's boundaries. So in 2005 it got itself the first domain poollicht.be; which stands for the Dutch translation of Aurora. In 2008 the website got more languages like French and English, it was the start for the search of an international name. Because the website brings near live Space Weather Data the choice was quickly made: SpaceWeatherLive.
