The solar wind speed jumped to a very decent 500km/s but the strength of the IMF is not all too impressive at 13nT and the Bz is pointing north. This is just the shock in front of the coronal mass ejectio for now so the Bz can still swing in the hours ahead. Be sure to follow all the data on our website in the coming hours.
