oemSpace
A geomagnetic storm is a temporary disturbance of the Earth's magnetosphere caused by a solar wind shock wave and/or cloud of magnetic field which interacts with the Earth's magnetic field. I would like to know when this geomagnetic storm directly effects on my living area, can I use any following EMF devices to observe this disturbance at home? Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any suggestionshttps://www.google.com.hk/search?q=emf%20device&bav=on.2,or.r_cp.&bvm=bv.74035653,d.dGc,pv.xjs.s.zh_TW.2SIJOw0pzWw.O&biw=1138&bih=499&dpr=1.2&um=1&ie=UTF-8&hl=zh-TW&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=eOX9U-6RK4Tk8AXN2IGgDw
Vancanneyt Sander
tracking geomagnetic disturbances can be done with magnetometers like you have seen on our website. To have one at your home look for the SAM magnetometers: http://www.reeve.com/SAMDescription.htm

Guest PetaFlux
You need a Proton Precession Magnetometer, you could either build one yourself or buy one, they are quite expensive. Also you need to place it really far away from any electric disturbances, you can't place it near housings. No, none of those trinkets will be of any use to you, an emf device is something else. I hope that is what you asked.
